We had a wonderful family holiday in Islay. Weaver’s Cottage is less than 5 minutes from Port Askaig so it felt like our holiday had started as soon as we arrived on Islay. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need and very easy to get to the rest of the island. Catherine pointed us in the direction of all the best beaches and her local knowledge meant that we were able to find the best for swimming, body boarding or the most stunning views. She also gave us tips on local walks so we were able to explore from the doorstep. And the view across the Sound from the cottage windows was very special too. So peaceful and relaxing. A really great place and a truly memorable holiday.
